Project: Seoul and Palembang sign MOC on C2C cooperation

The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the City of Palembang began exchanges leading to the eventual establishment of a future ‘Sustainable
Transportation System’ in Palembang. CITYNET has facilitated this C2C Project by arranging a transportation expert to visit Palembang and give technical advice.
CITYNET also supported a task force led by Palembang’s Mayor Eddy Santana Putra. The task force visited Seoul to examine their public transportation reforms, including the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS), which culminated in the offi cial signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation on July 27th, 2009.
